Located in the popular tourist resort of Protaras in the popular holiday town of Paralimni, the popular beach of Protaras better known as Fig Tree Bay – boasts fine, golden sands and crystal-clear waters. It takes its name from a single, solitary fig tree that has been there since the 17th century.

Konnos Beach – Blue Flag

A little piece of island paradise.

Situated 4 km east of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa – on the road between Cape Gkreko and Protaras – the 200-metre long beach of Konnos is one of the most picturesque on the island.

The last beach delineating the boundaries between Agia Napa and Paralimni, Konnos is small and idyllic, and covered in fine golden sand. Its calm and crystal clear seawaters are sheltered from heavy winds.

Facilities on the beach include toilets, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, a beach bar with music, and water sports facilities. There is also a transit point for small boats as the adjacent beaches provide bays for anchoring boats and diving. There are high-end hotels overlooking the beach, and restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

The path towards the beach takes you through pine trees and greenery, whilst the view from the top is truly breathtaking. The beach offers access to all that the National Forest Park – which is on the Natura 2000 network of European protected sites – offers, including hiking and diving.

Agia Thekla Beach

A beautiful natural beach.

Located 6,5 km west of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa, the 300-metre long beach of Agia Thekla is a beautiful coastal stretch that is located within the SPA (special protected area) of the Natura 2000 network.

As a sandy, natural beach, it has a rocky bottom covered in fine, golden sands, and its crystal-clear seawaters are relatively calm.

Facilities on the beach include toilets, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities, whilst there is a convenience store located close by, and the general area has a variety of restaurants and kiosks.

The beach is named after the saint Agia Thekla, to whom the nearby carved temple and the new white church are dedicated.

Vathia Gonia Beach – Blue Flag

Coast of calm seawaters with a lack of winds.

Located 2.2km west of the centre of the popular resort of Agia Napa, the 300-metre long beach of Vathia Gonia is a beautiful coastal stretch that is located 400 metres east of the more crowded Nissi Bay.

As a sandy beach with a natural rocky bay, it is covered in fine, golden sands, and its crystal-clear seawaters are relatively calm. There is a complete lack of headwinds at the beach.

Facilities on the beach include toilets, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities, whilst there is accommodation and a variety of restaurants located close by. An innovative system (Seatrac) that offers autonomous full access to the sea for the disabled, is installed on the beach.

Η παραλία Nissi στην Αγία Νάπα κατέλαβε την τρίτη θέση μεταξύ των δημοφιλέστερων και πιο φωτογραφημένων παραλιών στο Instagram και κατατάχθηκε 25η στη λίστα με τις καλύτερες παραλίες του κόσμου το 2018.

Βρίσκεται 3,5 χιλιόμετρα δυτικά από το κέντρο του δημοφιλούς τουριστικού θέρετρου της Αγίας Νάπας, έχει μήκος 300 μέτρα στον κόλπο Nissi και είναι διάσημη για το μικρό νησάκι και την αμμουδιά της – ένα φυσικό φαινόμενο που αποτελεί ορόσημο για την περιοχή.

Διαθέτει βραχώδεις σχηματισμούς στο κεντρικό και δυτικό τμήμα της, έχει ωραία, χρυσή άμμο και ήρεμα, πεντακάθαρα νερά. Θεωρείται μία από τις ομορφότερες παραλίες του νησιού, χάρη στο περίφημο νησάκι που βρίσκεται σε μικρή απόσταση από την ακτή, ενώ η παραλία της Μακρόνησου είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμη. Εκεί θα συναντήσετε και τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο των Τάφων της Μακρόνησου.

Παραλία Fig Tree Bay, Πρωταράς – Γαλάζια σημαία

Με περισσότερες από 30.000 αναρτήσεις στο Instagram το Fig Tree Bay είναι δικαίως η δεύτερη πιο δημοφιλής παραλία στην Κύπρο αμέσως μετά την παραλία Nissi και μια από τις πιο διάσημες παραλίες στην Ευρώπη.

Η πιο δημοφιλής παραλία του Πρωταρά γνωστή ως Fig Tree Bay διαθέτει χρυσή άμμο και κρυστάλλινα νερά. Πήρε το όνομά της από ένα αιωνόβιο δέντρο συκιάς που βρίσκεται εκεί από τον 17ο αιώνα.

Οι εγκαταστάσεις στην παραλία περιλαμβάνουν τουαλέτες, αποδυτήρια, ξαπλώστρες, ομπρέλες και θαλάσσια σπορ, ενώ η γενική περιοχή διαθέτει μια ποικιλία από καταλύματα, εστιατόρια και περίπτερα.

Παραλία Κόννος – Γαλάζια σημαία

Ένας επίγειος παράδεισος.

Βρίσκεται 4 χιλιόμετρα ανατολικά της Αγίας Νάπας – στο δρόμο μεταξύ του ακρωτηρίου του Κάβο Γκρέκο και του Πρωταρά βρίσκεται η παραλία Κόννου μήκους 200 μέτρων και είναι μια από τις πιο γραφικές του νησιού.

Ο Κόννος είναι μία μικρή, ειδυλλιακή παραλία που καλύπτεται από ψιλή χρυσή άμμο και οριοθετεί τα όρια μεταξύ Αγίας Νάπας και Παραλιμνίου. Διαθέτει ήρεμα και κρυστάλλινα νερά που προστατεύονται από τους δυνατούς ανέμους.

Οι εγκαταστάσεις στην παραλία περιλαμβάνουν τουαλέτες, αποδυτήρια, ξαπλώστρες, ομπρέλες, beach bar με μουσική και θαλάσσια σπορ. Υπάρχει επίσης σημείο διέλευσης για μικρά σκάφη, καθώς οι παρακείμενες παραλίες παρέχουν όρμους για αγκυροβόληση σκαφών και καταδύσεις. Υπάρχουν ξενοδοχεία υψηλών προδιαγραφών με θέα την παραλία, καθώς και εστιατόρια και περίπτερα σε κοντινή απόσταση.

Το μονοπάτι προς την παραλία είναι γεμάτο από πεύκα και πράσινο, ενώ η θέα από την κορυφή είναι πραγματικά μαγευτική. Η παραλία προσφέρει πρόσβαση σε όλα όσα προσφέρει το Εθνικό Δασικό Πάρκο – το οποίο βρίσκεται στο δίκτυο ευρωπαϊκών προστατευόμενων περιοχών Natura 2000 και εκεί μπορείς να κάνεις πεζοπορία και καταδύσεις.

Παραλία Αγία Θέκλα

Μια όμορφη φυσική παραλία.

Η παραλία της Αγίας Θέκλας μήκους 300 μέτρων βρίσκεται 6,5 χιλιόμετρα δυτικά της Αγίας Νάπας και ανήκει στην ειδική προστατευόμενη περιοχή του δικτύου Natura 2000.

Ως αμμώδης, φυσική παραλία, έχει έναν βραχώδη πυθμένα καλυμμένο με ψιλή, χρυσή άμμο με πεντακάθαρα ήρεμα νερά.

Οι εγκαταστάσεις στην παραλία περιλαμβάνουν τουαλέτες, αποδυτήρια, ξαπλώστρες, ομπρέλες και θαλάσσια σπορ, ενώ υπάρχει ένα κατάστημα με είδη πρώτης ανάγκης ενώ η περιοχή διαθέτει μια ποικιλία από εστιατόρια και περίπτερα.

Η παραλία πήρε το όνομά της από την Αγία Θέκλα, στην οποία είναι αφιερωμένος ο γειτονικός λαξεμένος σε σπηλιά ναός και το σύγχρονο λευκό ξωκλήσι.

Παραλία Βαθιά Γωνιά – Γαλάζια σημαία

Ακτή ήρεμων θαλασσινών θαλασσών χωρίς ανέμους.

Βρίσκεται 2,2 χιλιόμετρα δυτικά της Αγίας Νάπας, η παραλία της Βαθιάς Γωνιάςς μήκους 300 μέτρων είναι μια όμορφη παραθαλάσσια έκταση που βρίσκεται 400 μέτρα ανατολικά του πιο πολυσύχναστου κόλπου Νησί.

Ως αμμώδης παραλία με φυσικό βραχώδη κόλπο, είναι καλυμμένη με ψιλή, χρυσή άμμο και τα κρυστάλλινα θαλασσινά νερά της είναι σχετικά ήρεμα.

Οι εγκαταστάσεις στην παραλία περιλαμβάνουν τουαλέτες, αποδυτήρια, ξαπλώστρες, ομπρέλες και θαλάσσια σπορ, ενώ υπάρχουν καταλύματα και μια ποικιλία από εστιατόρια που βρίσκονται κοντά. Ένα καινοτόμο σύστημα (Seatrac) είναι εγκατεστημένο στην παραλία και προσφέρει αυτόνομη πρόσβαση στη θάλασσα για άτομα με ειδικές ανάγκες.
