They take pride in using only fresh ingredients here and the customer certainly benefits. Some truly delicious dishes with fresh fish. Try the fish meze to get an idea of what you might like on a second visit.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving international and Cypriot cuisine, fresh fish and vegetarian dishes, all year round. With a view of the sea, it also has it’s own swimming pool. What makes it more unusual is the permanent exhibition of art by Carolina Alotus and a small shop selling art postcards and prints.

La Cultura De Gusto

Probably the most established newly launched Italian restaurant in Protaras. The friendly atmosphere will be unforgettable to all the visitors. The food can be perfectly combined with a great variety of imported wines.

JAPANESE

Hokkaido Japanese Restaurant.
35, Ayias Mavris Street (23721505).
This is one of the few restaurants in Ayia Napa where a reservation is essential. Hokkaido offers fabulous, quality Japanese food in traditional Japanese surroundings. Not cheap, but arguably one of the best of its kind on the island.

Sapporo Japanese Restaurant.
15, Hippocratous Street (23721053).
The sister enterprise of the Hokkaido. No expense has been spared on this high-standard Teppanyaki restaurant, which opens from April to October. Reservations are advisable. Situated near the square.

MEXICAN

Los Bandidos

Although you don’t usually need to make a reservation here, be prepared to have a margarita or two, since there is always a wait. The food is superb, not unreasonably priced the atmosphere that of a busy Mexican retreat.

CYPRIOT

Octagon Taverna

Enjoy the local Cypriot ‘meze’, while the live band and Cypriot dancers play and dance the folkloric Cypriot tunes. Open daily. Reservation suggested before visiting.

2nd Georges’s Restaurant

The most established restaurant of the village, dated back in the early 60’s where it used to be the most popular of the whole Famagusta area. Today, is service traditional meze, and plays live music twice a week.
